Why Try a Group?

Build your village.
Connect with other moms in the same stage-of-life.

Education.
Learn more about perinatal mental health including skills to cope from a Registered Psychologist.

Feel validated in a judgment-free zone.

Learn and grow with each other.

Financial benefits.
Group therapy is far less expensive per session than individual therapy. This can be extremely helpful as being a new mom often means being on a tighter budget.

Evidence-Based.
One of the highest risk factors for mental health challenges in the postpartum period is isolation. Groups provide much needed social support.

Group Therapy for New Moms

I facilitate group therapy for moms of babies age 0-12 months called "All About Mom". Participants can choose to come with or without their baby/babies.

Topics covered include: anxiety, mental overload and overwhelm, depression and burn-out, healthy boundaries and relationships, motherhood myths, and mom guilt. Group therapy is focused on building connection with others in a similar stage-of-life to decrease feelings of isolation and increase validation and resilience.

Please note: The group is currently on pause.  Send me an email to inquire about individual therapy or to be placed on a waitlist for the next available group.
